Get creative and enter DSWF’s Global Canvas art and poetry competition 2016!

For full details of the 2016 Competition - with its revised closing date for entry of 10th February - please CLICK HERE

This annual children’s competition is part of David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation’s Art for Survival programme and was established in 2004 to encourage young people to express their concern for the environment through art and poetry.

Following the success from 2015, we are inviting group entries for our Global Canvas 2016 competition with the theme 'Wild Wonders'.

Get together with your friends, class, year or school and along with your entry form submit a photograph of your exhibition along with any poetry as Word documents plus 200 words describing how you have interpreted the theme.

Please also submit a video or PowerPoint presentation which will be shown at the Natural History Museum if you are selected as a winner (videos must be no more than 3 minutes long).

Your exhibition should fill a wall space 6x6ft and a table 6ftx2ft and if your group is successful you will be invited to recreate your work at the prestigious Natural History Museum in London on March 17th 2016.

Entry costs £20 per submission and you have until 10th February 2016 to send us your entry. We recommend submitting your entry (entry form, photo (no bigger than 3MB), poetry as Word documents and video or presentation) using a file transfer tool such as DropBox, WeTransfer or Google Drive, then sending the link along with your completed application form to: dswf@davidshepherd.org with the title ‘Global Canvas 2016 submission’. Good luck!
